My Background
The Yukon's many layers of history and beauty are very much a part of my persona. My husband and I raised our three children in the mining town of Elsa, which overlooks the majestic Mount Haldane and the incredible beauty of the McQuesten Valley. My husband and I raised our three children in the mining town of Elsa, which overlooks the majestic Mount Haldane and the incredible beauty of the McQuesten Valley. I taught the art of Ceramics for approximately twenty years, and my acrylic and watercolour art is now a full time endeavor.My artwork is currently available to view and purchase at my home studio as well as at Arts Underground Gallery and Midnight Sun Gallery in Whitehorse, Yukon, Canada
My Medium
My mediums of choice are currently acrylic and watercolour , but I also love to experiment with various mixed media products and techniques, including airbrush. I believe that working in a single medium is restrictive to my artistic process. Each idea manifests in its own individual style.

My Inspiration
The Yukon landscape images that are so much a part of my life are the inspiration for my painting, and watercolour florals are a relatively recent passion.

Each art card is professionally printed from my original artwork and is left blank inside to allow the buyer to use them for a variety of occasions. The image title, my artist biography and contact information are printed on the back of each card. The cards are printed on 150 pound coated card stock, packaged in cellophane sleeves and envelopes are included. Packages of four can be made up of one of each card or pick and choose multiples of the same card-buyer's choice.
